Seth Meyers will be the master of ceremonies at January's Golden Globes.

Celebrating the nonstop glamour, humor, heartfelt speeches and classic moments from Hollywood's Party of the Year, the "Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special" will also include comedic highlights from past hosts and presenters and a countdown of the best Golden Globe Award-winning movies of all time, as selected by members of the HFPA. Meyers has already been doing a critically acclaimed job of tackling these tough topics on Late Night with Seth Meyers, so he makes an obvious choice for NBC to go to for the occasion.

As Deadline notes Meyers has seen a spike in viewership this year thanks to his constant criticism of Donald Trump and his administration. All eyes will be on Meyers considering the political and Hollywood landscape, but the younger the eyes, the better. In the past, he's done similar gigs such as hosting the 2014 Emmys and the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner.

Will & Grace stars and Broadway alums Eric McCormack and Debra Messing will host the Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special, airing on NBC December 13 at 9 PM ET.
