Police had been searching for Holt since Friday night's shooting.

An arrest warrant identified the suspect as Rahmeal Sal Holt, 29, and warned that he should be considered armed and risky, state police said on Twitter.

Police have arrested the driver of an SUV that fled a traffic stop, leaving behind a passenger who fatally shot a rookie police officer in suburban Pittsburgh. Tavon Harper is being held on $500,000 bail on drug and fleeing charges after being arrested at his home on Saturday. He does not face charges in connection with Shaw's death.

Police are also trying to find a woman named Lisa Harrington.

Holt's mother, Sherry Holt, denied knowledge of her son's whereabouts Monday night but said he wanted to turn himself into authorities, according to KDKA-TV.

Authorities are on the lookout for a gunman who killed a Pennsylvania police officer during a traffic stop, and have raised a reward to $43,500 while asking for tips in the case. The lights were flashing and the auto was draped in black ribbons. Shaw's funeral is set for Wednesday at Mount Saint Peter Church.

Officers from different towns and municipalities pitched in during the search for Holt so the town's police department could grieve Shaw's death and attend services, New Kensington Mayor Tom Guzzo said. "We could not be doing this without them".
