They were 3-10 on converting third downs, ran 13 fewer plays, were out-rushed by 86-yards, and gave up two sacks and two interceptions.

Arians also correctly noted that dropped passes and an ineffective running game throughout Sunday's matchup hurt his team's chances. "I really have to block out all the noise. In retrospect, (we) should have punted", he said.

With five games left in the season, there is no reason for the Cardinals to go back to Drew Stanton even if he is healthy enough to play - even if Arians feels a sense of loyalty.

Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald was happy to be in Houston to see Johnson honored. Houston is the only AFC team to record multiple games with two-or-more passing touchdowns and two-or-more rushing touchdowns this season. However, keeping him in the starting lineup is likely more out of necessity than anything else because their other quarterbacks T.J. Yates and Josh Johnson have only been with the team since Watson was injured.

The Texans snapped a three-game losing streak with a much-needed win on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

"To be honest I just felt like it was a fashion statement really", he said with a laugh. Just do things the right way.

"What I saw is exactly what I thought I'd see", Arians said.

"You just can't play on the road and not be able to run the ball", Arians said. The Cardinals converted that turnover into another red zone touchdown.

Before the two-minute warning in the second quarter on a 2nd-and-8 play, the cornerback intercepted the pass by Texans' quarterback Tom Savage intended for tight end Stephen Anderson.

Two plays later, Gabbert connected with Fitzgerald on the 20-yard touchdown pass to tie it at 7-all.

NOTES: Palmer is no longer wearing a cast over the arm he broke in a game last month. "We came into halftime saying, 'We're not letting this go, we're not letting this game get away from us like we did the previous game in the second half".

"If I could play against him every Sunday", Hopkins said, "I would".

The offense then came through with two touchdowns, both from D'Onta Foreman.

In week 11 of the 2017 National Football League season the 3-6 Houston Texans played the 4-5 Arizona Cardinals at NRG Stadium, as the Texans came out on top 31-21. He exploded down the sideline and dove into the endzone for his second touchdown of the game.

For the game, Foreman had 65-yards and Miller 61-yards for the Texans. After the game, Clowney was asked about stopping Peterson. "So I think Tom did a good job".

Savage completed 22 of 32 attempts for 230-yards and had one interception. Early in the third quarter, Savage threw a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins. "You look at us from a fan's perspective and you're like this is awesome".

"I take all that (expletive) back I said (Sunday)", Arians said.
