That's right, the latest episode released a year ago will join Gears of War Ultimate Edition plus the four Gears of War Xbox 360 games already available on Microsoft's gaming subscription service.

It's one of the most-high-profile additions to the service so far, and means the pass now lets subscribers play every entry in the Gears series on one console. But that's not all, as other key additions to the program include Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daugher and the original Mass Effect.

The Xbox Game Pass program for Xbox One is running full steam right now, especially with the offer to try out the service for just $1 for the first month - not too bad at all.

We gave Gears of War 4 a 9.2 and an Editor's Choice award in our review.

In order to celebrate Black Friday, Microsoft is offering the Xbox Game Pass for the super cheap price of just $1.

Xbox Game Pass is now available on the Xbox One and features a mix of Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible and Xbox One games. Are you a fan of customization? Struggling with your stealth? It's also worth noting then, that you can still hook a one-month subscription for $1/£1/€1 until 27th November.

As an added benefit, Xbox Game Pass members can purchase all Xbox One games in the catalog - and related add-ons - at an exclusive discount, allowing you to dive deeper into the Xbox Game Pass titles you love most, and make them part of your permanent library.
