- Investigators spent Monday searching for a missing 3-year-old in Onslow County.

"If anybody knows where she is at or any information, just please call the sheriff's department or notify anybody".

The child, Mariah Kay Woods was last seen at 2405 Lot 7 of Dawson Cabin Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities are interviewing the family, and they are using a helicopter and drone to search for the girl. The Sheriff's Office is referring to the case as an abduction.

The child's grandmother, Melissa Hunter, told WITN that Mariah's mother checked on her about 9 or 10 p.m. Sunday and she was in bed.

The girl's two older brothers made it to school safely.
