Amazon's Prime Video app was one of the most prominent service missing from Apple TV platform.

Amazon Prime Video is part of the Amazon Prime membership, now available for $10.99 or £7.99/month.

Version 5.0 of the app should be discoverable in the App Store, just look for "Amazon Prime Video" if you can't find it.
Prime Video joins other streaming services that are available on the Apple TV, including Netflix and Hulu.

Aside from that, the Apple TV app also now supports live sports coverage from ESPN and National Basketball Association with partnership from the National Basketball Association and Turner Sports.

Cue describes that Apple TV's Sports tab will be definitely user-friendly as it would be easier to track USA users' favorite teams, games, and important moments. This, too, can be synced across all users' Apple devices.

The Prime Video app for the Apple TV supports numerous Apple TV features, this included Siri and the TV app, this allows you to search for videos on Prime from the main TV interface. Here, the streaming service's content can come up in systemwide searches. The app is now rolling out and the release notes confirm it will also work on the third-generation Apple TV.

It's safe to say that Apple TV buyers do not buy it exclusively for watching Prime Video, but sure.
