While there's no solid release date just yet, Asus does offer a free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 10 S until September 30, 2018, which means the 2-in-1 should be widely available way before then.

Asus and HP both announced laptops that would run on the Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC platform, at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii. These laptops are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and you get Windows 10 for your operating system.

The HP ENVY x2, an Always Connected PC, combines the best of a smartphone experience with the best of a Windows PC.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform: What's the deal?

These are the first laptops in the world to offer inbuilt Gigabit LTE capabilities, which basically means you can use e-SIMs or nano-SIMs to connect to the internet.

"ASUS NovaGo is a convertible laptop with leading Gigabit LTE connectivity and battery life that revolutionises what the personal PC can be for consumers", Cristiano Amon, President, Qualcomm Technologies Inc, said in a statement. These are first generation products but they have a ton to offer and the upcoming Snapdragon 845 Windows 10 laptops should be even more powerful. Four antennas ensure ultrafast connectivity through LTE Advanced Cat 16 cellular networking, while dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and MU-MIMO technology provide download speeds of up to 867Mbps.

Asus NovaGo features 8.9 mm thin bezels. The brand claims that the notebook flaunts 22 hours of video playback and over 30 days of standby time.

A fanless design and the small 10nm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC platform allowed ASUS engineers to keep the weight and dimensions of the 13.3-inch NovaGo down to a minimum - it weighs just 1.39kg with an incredibly thin 14.9mm profile.

It will run Windows 10 on Snapdragon 835 chipset and promises always-on 4G LTE connectivity with the X16 LTE modem.

The ASUS NovaGo features a 13.3-inch full HD IPS NanoEdge display with a screen to body ratio of 78 percent.

The 4GB RAM and 64GB "UFS 2.0" will be available for $599 while the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant will be available for $799. It supports 10-point multitouch as well as ASUS Pen support with 1,024 pressure levels. The NovaGo will first be sold in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, mainland China, and Taiwan.
