Chance The Rapper Gifts Students With 300 Pairs of Unreleased Jordans

Chance The Rapper has been continuously doing what he can to improve the lives of kids in Chicago.

Hip-Hop please take note.

Chance the Rapper made a surprise appearance at Adam Clayton Powell Jr.

This means the Bulls are the first team in the National Basketball Association to call Chance by his correct titles.

"We're honored to support SocialWorks' mission to help underrepresented students in Chicago reach their full potential, as well as Chicago Public Schools' efforts to turn computer science into a pathway for creative expression", Google.org principal Justin Steele said in a statement.


The money will be used to support computer science and arts programs for kids in Chicago Public Schools, according to a press release from Google, and the classes will be used to teach children technical skills for the future.

The Open Mike night is put on monthly as a part of Social Works, which is Chance's Youth Empowerment Charity.

Chicago's philanthropic rapper brought an early Christmas to his home city on Monday, gifting 300 pairs of unreleased Jordan Retro 11s to a crowd of high school students.

Earlier Tuesday (Dec. 5), Chance expressed his gratitude to Chicago and the Social Works team for making the special event "one of its best nights yet".
