Davido Throws Weight Behind Kiss Daniel Over Lawsuit With Former Label

The record label alleged that the seven years deal signed by the singer has not expired, adding that the artist breached the deal with series of actions contrary to the provisions of the contract.

According to a statement posted on Twitter, the lawyer, Oluwaseye Lawal says the label have nothing on his client, Kiss Daniel.

Daniel had said there was no such order, but in reaction, the record label, in a statement signed by Emmanuel Egah, said it would be in the singer's best interest to adhere to the court orders.

According to G-WorldWide, the court order was issued by the federal high court, Lagos.


But Kiss Daniel is not shaken by the threats.

G-Worldwide Entertainment has made available to Pulse the court declaration in its case against singer Kiss Daniel.

In a statement on Tuesday, the record company said: "Anidugbe executed a 7-year recording and artiste management contract with the company in 2013 and which contract is still subsisting".

Anidugbe (Kiss Daniel) our attention has been drawn to the unfortunate publication by G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd now circulating on social media in respect of the exit of our client from G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd.

By an application dated 20th November 2017, the Company sought interim orders of injunction, and other further orders as the Court may deem fit to make, against Mr. Anidugbe, retraining the Artiste's further distribution, publication, or performance of these songs, or negotiating or entering any agreement thereof without the consent or permission of G-Worldwide Entertainment Ltd.
The addition of "Daniel" (which is his middle name) was at his instance.
