Derrick Rose is back in Cleveland and ready to help the Cavaliers when he's fully healthy.

After exiling himself for two weeks, Rose re-joined the Cavs on Wednesday and, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, explained to his teammates that he was frustrated over his latest injury.

"We haven't talked to him". "He asked me could he talk to the team before we started shootaround and addressed the team". "It's going to be a long season and we know that". He doesn't owe us an explanation I don't think.

That said, the only potential solution would be to either waive Rose or potentially try to deal him before the trade deadline.

Kevin Love is averaging 26.8 points and 12.3 boards over his last four games and has registered a double-double in 17 of 24 career games against the Kings.

The former NBA MVP left the team on November 9 after being sidelined with a sprained left ankle.

While in retrospect, having Rose back to help add some depth to the depleted frontcourt seems like a good idea, there is speculation that it would be best if he did not return at all.

"Hopefully it continues", Wade said. "We've just got to keep chipping away at it and find out how we can be better every day". It can happen in the middle of the game. "It won't be in the next few games or nothing like that, so just got to see how he takes to treatment". A guy who was scoring 14 points a game in a different role before his injury.

The Cavs have been very supportive of Rose throughout his time away from the team, but during that stretch without him they've finally gotten things together.

"When DRose walks back in, DRose is a Cleveland Cavalier", Wade said.

The three-time defending Eastern Conference champions anticipated using Rose as a backup to Isaiah Thomas.
