"The accused has been arrested and a special investigation team (SIT) has been set up.Any person will be disturbed by the video".

A labourer's half-burnt body was found near a hotel on the 100 Feet Road in Rajsamand on Wednesday.

The mother of Afrazul, a 50-year-old labourer from West Bengal who was allegedly axed and burnt in Rajasthan, has demanded punishment for the accused. In the video, the killer is seen talking about love jihad and presence of a young girl is also seen the video, which has fuelled rumours that it might be a love jihad case.

Internet services in the Rajsamand district were suspended to stop circulation of the horrific video, fearing a communal clash. When the victim falls to the ground, he pours kerosene on him and sets him on fire.

However, other media reports said that the identity of the victim was Afrazul, a daily wage worker from West Bengal's Malda district.

He, along with Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Manish Tripathi and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajendra Singh reached the spot where they found a badly disfigured body.

Agriculture equipment, victim's bike and footwear were found at the crime scene.

In the video that was later uploaded on social media, the perpetrator, with a saffron teeka on his head, is seen threatening with impunity in front of the camera: 'Those who will commit love jihad, will meet with the same fate'. Police said that he had lured the victim on the pretext of offering him some work. The content of the video will make infuriated and will explain all the wrong reasons for which it is trending.

The term has been popularised by radical Hindu fringe groups, who accuse Muslim men of participating in a "conspiracy to turn Hindu women from their religion by seducing them".
