Rosamund Pike and Daniel Bruhl divert a plane for a goal in the trailer for 7 Days to Entebbe.

"The 2017 film is from director José Padilha ("Narcos", "Elite Squad") and written by Gregory Burke ("'71"). Entebbe will open on March 9th, 2018 in the United Kingdom, and a week later Stateside. Jo Burn, Liza Chasin, Olivier Courson, Jean-Claude Darmon, Jonathan King, Angela Morrison, and Jeff Skoll served as executive producers.

The flight, originating in Tel Aviv, Israel and en route to Paris, France, originally contained 248 passengers, but most non-Israeli passengers were allowed to safely depart for France once the plane had landed in Entebbe.

7 Days in Entebbe is rated PG-13 for violence, some thematic material, drug use, smoking and brief strong language.

Daniel Brühl and Rosamund Pike play members of a radical West German group who carried out the hijacking along with Palestinian revolutionaries. The film will follow the hijackers, the hostages, then-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabiin and upcoming Prime Minister Shimon Peres dealing with whether or not to try to free the hostages or to negotiate.
