The Muslim Brotherhood has declared war on the United States after President Trump announced earlier today the official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intent to move the us embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and those who follow him.

"I fear for Jerusalem and its people today. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem".

The Christian leaders of the holy city are following "with concern" reports the USA might unilaterally recognise the city as the capital of Israel.

Trump was giving a speech later Wednesday in which he is expected to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

"No Muslim can ever accept Jerusalem as the capital of Zionist state and so this decision is bound to fail", they said. The Muslim Brotherhood has followed the USA president's statements about his intention to transfer the US embassy to Jerusalem and recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of the Zionist entity, a decision that entered into force is a formal attack by the United States of America on the Islamic lands and holy places.

"We ask you, Mr President, to help us all walk toward more love and a definitive peace, which can not be reached without Jerusalem being for all", they said.

Several are Palestinian, and most share space in the revered Holy Sepulcher Church in Jerusalem's Old City. "Any sudden changes would cause irreparable harm".

The Christian leaders, who include Catholic and Orthodox patriarchs as well as the Franciscan custos of the Holy Land, said Jerusalem could be "shared and fully enjoyed" once a political process helped "liberate the hearts of all people that live within it from the conditions of conflict and destructiveness that they are experiencing".

"For President Trump to recognize that this isn't going anywhere, that the freedom of Israel is just inherently connected with the freedom of Jerusalem.it's a recognition of a reality that's necessary in order for real peace to be achieved in the region, not based on false stupidities that have been promulgated for the last couple decades", Shapiro said.
