Stephen Curry will miss a minimum of two weeks after an MRI exam on his injured right ankle Tuesday revealed a sprain. "Like, 'I got it, this one's mine.' He was brilliant", coach Kerr said of Durant. This was KD's third 30-point triple-double in his National Basketball Association career, his second with the Dubs and his ninth overall. This should be good for us in the long run.

"Tonight it felt like I could go in my bag of tricks and pull some stuff out", Durant said after Wednesday night's victory, per a video tweeted by Anthony Slater of The Athletic. "He took over. It wasn't really scripted, it was just a natural product of Steph being out, Draymond being out".

"I think big picture-wise over the next couple weeks it's an opportunity for our team to get better because we have to", Kerr told reporters on Thursday (AEDT), via The Associated Press.

Elsewhere, LeBron James nailed a clutch three-pointer with 16 seconds left as Cleveland won a record-tying 13th straight game with a 101-95 win over the Sacramento Kings.

In New Orleans, DeMarcus Cousins had 40 points and 22 rebounds and Jrue Holiday tallied 27 points and seven assists to lift the New Orleans Pelicans to a 123-114 win over the Denver Nuggets.

So far this season, the two-time league MVP is averaging 26.3 points on 47.3 percent shooting from the field and 38.1 percent from behind the arc through 23 appearances this season, along with 5.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.7 steals.
