LG V30+ set to launch in India on December 13

The V30 is LG's first true flagship phone from LG, in a long time, to come with a curved OLED - called Full Vision by the company - display which is also HDR 10-ready. Let's check out the specifications of this device.

As a reminder, the LG V30 and LG V30 Plus have a 6-inch, 2880 x 1440 pOLED display. The device screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup. On the storage front, the device offers 128GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card slot.

The smartphone runs Android 7.1.2 with LG's UX 6.0+ on top which offers a few customisation options. It has a 16MP primary camera with 71-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.6-aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The hybrid dual SIM device comes with 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology's SABRE ES9218P. The device has a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. There is a 5MP Selfie camera on the front which comes with f/2.2 aperture and 90-degree wide-angle lens.

Aside from the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which also doubles as a home button, LG has introduced few new security features in the LG V30 such as facial and voice recognition. Besides that, the handset comes with IP68 water and dust resistance. The company claims that the smartphone has passed MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test, which makes its compliant for military operations. The device was launched in Korea for 998,800 won which roughly translates to Rs. 58,900. However, we should come to know the exact pricing of the device for India during its launch which is on December 13.
