"I don't care about the money", LaVar Ball said while announcing the news.

"It's very hard for me to see him having a longterm pathway to success where he could make more money in basketball than he could have as a UCLA graduate", said NBA draft expert Sam Vecenie.

LaVar Ball's middle son, LiAngelo, withdrew from UCLA earlier this week, about a month after he and two teammates caused an global stir by getting arrested on shoplifting charges during a team trip to China.

The agent, Harrison Gaines, has reportedly been talking to teams in Europe and Asia about both of the younger Ball brothers playing on a team together overseas.

LaMelo was pulled from Chino Hills High School - the school where all three Ball brothers attended - with plans of being homeschooled until he attended UCLA.

"I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time", LaVar told ESPN.

LaMelo Ball and LiAngelo Ball have signed with the same agent that represents Lonzo Ball, via a report from Jeff Goodman. "I'm letting Harrison handle all that, but I know there are a few teams interested".

It's unclear where the pair will end up, but it will be interesting to see what level of basketball they end up playing at.

LiAngelo Ball is not considered an National Basketball Association prospect, but LaMelo Ball might be, depending on his development. Lietkabelis coach Arturs Stalbergs subsequently scoffed at the idea in a since-deleted tweet that poked fun at LiAngelo's shoplifting arrest in China last month.

A professional team in Lithuania has offered the Ball Brothers a job, but not the one they are looking for.
