Piers Morgan brands Emily Ratajkowski 'a global bimbo' after LOVE shoot

Emily Ratajkowski thinks it's sexist to tell women what to wear.

Emily posed for a shoot for LOVE Magazine's advent calendar and the pictures were quickly shared online.

Emily Ratajkowski just indirectly shut down Piers Morgan's "global bimbo" criticism on Twitter, by explaining how taking sexy photos for Instagram and being a feminist aren't mutually exclusive. On Good Morning Britain he argued that the video was not about feminism, but merely an opportunity for the model to further her own career - and was joined in the studio by glamour model Nicola McLean for a heated debate.

"LOL never said my LOVE video was a feminist statement".

One person wrote, "It seems Piers has a odd personal vendetta against women who feel liberated by taking their clothes off".

"But now it's worth saying that telling women what to do with their bodies and sexuality is actually just classic sexism".

Morgan hit out at Ratajkowski earlier this week (December 5), claiming that a photoshoot she did in her underwear undermined her promotion of feminist values. "Somewhere, Emmeline Pankhurst just vomited", he also tweeted.

Piers Morgan has asked his fans not to sexually objectify him after posting a near naked photo of himself on Twitter. I'm exhausted of having to consider how I might be perceived by men if I wear a short skirt or if I post a sexy Instagram. I have a problem when she couches it as feminism and female empowerment.

"And I don't want young women around the world thinking the only way to get on in life and be empowered is to get their kit off and writhe in spaghetti".

Apart from Ratajkowski, celebrities who appeared in the 2017 Advent Calendar theme #staystrong include Kendall Jenner, Ashley Graham and Gigi Hadid.
