Plateau State PDP Chairman, Daminishi Sango Kidnapped

Damishi Sango was kidnapped with five other along Jere village, Kaduna State.

As pressure mounts towards the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gunmen Wednesday evening abducted the Plateau State Chairman of the party, Chief Damishi Sango, along the Kafanchan-Abuja highway.

According to reports, the former Minister left Jos around 2 pm en route to Abuja for the party's National Convention slated for Saturday, December 9th, 2017.


Confirming incident, the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP Plateau State John Akans called on the security agencies to ensure the unconditional and safe release of the State party chairman and his entourage.

He explained further that the abductors abandoned the vehicle conveying the chairman and others as they went with the victims, adding that the abductors were yet to contact the former minister's family. Davou Mang decries the inability of the Federal Government under the APC administration to take immediate action on the safety of the Kaduna road that has been a kidnappers camp.
