Police looking for Paterson woman who may have been abducted

Tips on what to do when someone you care about goes missing.

Detectives seek the public's help to find a woman possibly abducted in her own auto late Tuesday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.

Police say Shanaya Coley, 24, may have been injured and possibly abducted in her own vehicle seen above.

Shanaya Coley was spotted around 10:49 p.m. near Colonial Avenue.


Detectives believe that Coley may have been injured and possibly abducted in her own auto.

Prosecutors said this is a very active investigation right now, and officers are out looking for her.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Coley's whereabouts to contact Det. Sgt. Marco Aliano of the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office at 862-849-6019 or Paterson police at 973-321-1120.
