Selena Gomez reveals how she and Taylor Swift became friends

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have had a long-lasting BFFship.

Selena Gomez dropped by the KISS FM UK studio to promote her latest single "Wolves", with Marshmello, and being the most-followed person on Instagram. Taylor Swift's Fearless album had just come out, Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' second breakup made us cry even harder when we watched The Notebook and the Jonas Brothers were taking over the world.

'It was fantastic, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots, ' the Say It To My Heart songstress continued.

When asked about how she became friends with Taylor, Selena opened up to Britian's KISS FM: "We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together!"

That's right. Relationships shade, but true BBF-ship lasts forever.

"It's really cool to surround yourself with people and be involved with people who are aspiring and changing the way that they dictate what they love, and she's one of those people who will continue to do that", Gomez said of her friend.

Speaking previously about her friendship with Taylor, Selena said it's the singer's loyalty that sets her apart from other friends. "I'm very proud, and obviously a major fan".

It might seem like ages ago now, but in 2008, Gomez and Jonas were a young Hollywood power couple.

And now they've all moved on with their lives, Selena insisted she, Taylor and the Jonas Brothers are all good friends. "She had been a fighter and a warrior and friend through all of this", Gomez gushed.
