Andy Ruiz: Parker Never Hurt Me Once, I Think Joshua Too Strong

Joseph Parker is going to have to bring something different to the table if he's going to beat Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr says.

A fight to unify Joshua's IBF and WBA world titles and Parker's WBO belt would probably happen in March if it is made.

"It's either Parker or me, really", Whyte exclusively told Sky Sports.

Joshua has stopped everyone in his path, while Parker has gone the distance in his last three fights and wasn't impressive in several of his recent outings.

"I always go into the ring with confidence to win".

"Now I have the closest fight with Chris Hammer and I'm concentrating on the next fight", he said.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Joshua could be ordered to face Povetkin and has already discussed this possibility with the 38-year-old's promotional team.

"I'm happy to take the fight, but I've got to be compensated the right way, that's all it is".

"Two; he could fight Joshua in a unification fight". He never had a pressure fighter on him all the time. Dillian is on the verge.

While Joshua vs Wilder was entertaining a couple of years back, it's the big fights that fans crave and more than anything, it's boxing's opportunity to see a unified heavyweight champion of the world by the end of next year.

Whyte hurt Joshua in the early rounds of their 2015 fight before suffering a seventh-round stoppage loss and admits he would be much better prepared for their return bout. "We've got to get him a shot, which is hard".
