TIME may be earning tons of praise for its 2017 Person of the Year cover, highlighting dozens of sexual assault and harassment "silence breakers" and pioneers in the #MeToo movement, but Demi Lovato sees a huge flaw in the magazine's recent issue. Hence it was no surprise when Trump made it to the list in 2016, following his massive win in the presidential election over Hillary Clinton. I honestly have no words. My family and friends have strong opinions both for and against President Trump, but for me, it's not something I'm incredibly passionate about.

Time said Trump is worthy of the runner-up title for how he's "changed the rules of the presidency" during his first year in the White House.

"Time magazine highlights fearless women coming forward against sexual assault on the cover but names a man with sexual assault allegations against him runner-up "Person of the Year".

Trump has several accusations of sexual misconduct against him, and is infamous for his "grab em by the p--" comments about being able to grab women when famous in a leaked Access Hollywood tape. Lovato then directly told the publication that she found it "very disappointed in their hypocrisy and disrespect toward the women on their cover".

Many people noted Kesha's omission from the cover and story. The former Disney darling concluded her rant by giving advice to the magazine, "To be named POTY by @TIME it should be for doing something positive or fearless LIKE the women on the cover".

She continued, "It's annoying that it's just about impact on the news".

"To be named POTY by @TIME it should be for doing something positive or courageous LIKE the women on the cover". She added on Wednesday that the Time cover "is worth speaking up about". While Time magazine did an awesome job of showcasing the "Person of the Year", they really fell short when it came to the runner-up. Just don't share that information with the public and not expect all hell to break loose.
