Escapee from Marshall County Jail being sought by KSP

A Murray woman is also facing charges after state police said she helped the inmate.

Kentucky State Police is searching for a Marshall County inmate they say it considered unsafe. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Lamb is charged with second degree escape.

Lamb was at the residence and was taken to the Marshall County Jail. Mr. Meadows is believed to still be in the Post 1 area. Police are now searching for the escapee.


Troopers say 27-year-old Jeremy L. Meadows left work detail at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Meadows is described as being a white male, weighing approximately 140 pounds, 6 foot tall with blue eyes and short, brown hair. He has numerous tattoos including horn tattoos on each facial temple.

Kentucky State Police have arrested a Murray man in connection with a sexual assault investigation in Tennessee.
