Police in NY are asking the public's help in tracking down a missing Indian American pregnant woman.

NY reports that Amarjit Kaur, 34, of Queens, left her home off of 128th Street in South Ozone Park on Tuesday for a visit to her local Chase bank when she disappeared.

The woman didn't make it back to her auto, and she didn't arrive to pick her two twin boys up from school. Her phone was inside the vehicle parked at 114th Street and Liberty Avenue, according to reports. "She never went to pick up the kids, then I got anxious and started calling", husband Lakhwinder Multani told CBS. Her husband said she's seven weeks pregnant. "I'm feeling very bad, kids feeling very bad".

In their 15 years of marriage and of living here in the neighborhood for just as long, Multani never expected this. We had never problems. What happened to her after that is unknown.

Kaur is described as an Asian female with black hair and black eyes. She was wearing yellow trousers and a long-sleeved black shirt on the morning she disappeared.

Witnesses with information on the mother's whereabouts are urged to contact police. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
