Swansea City head coach Paul Clement claims that he still has the full backing of his players despite the club's poor form in the Premier League.

"I have enough experience to know when the dressing room is behind me and when it's not".

"Internally, everyone's working in the same direction".

Clement has won just two league games and the rock bottom Swans host Pulis' old team West Bromwich on Saturday.

'There's no divisions, it's a cohesive dressing room, ' the manager told a news conference on Thursday. If there's any pressure, talk of I'm not going to be here, it's from external sources, it's not from within.

Asked if he is the man to turn things around, Clement said: "Absolutely".

"I've had positive conversations with the owners and the communication lines are open". I have no feeling like that.

"We are working in a focused manner".

'We had 12 last season and we know we can stay up from there.

Swansea City manager Paul Clement believes he is the man to turn the club's season around, as the Welsh side now sit bottom of the table on nine points.

A tally of 29 points from Clement's 19 games in charge gave Swansea a final total of 41 points.

The Swans awful run of form has resulted in Clement's position seemingly coming under pressure, the former Chelsea and Bayern Munich assistant failing to build upon his successful turn around of the team's 2016/17 season.

"I don't fear (losing to West Brom), not as my position as head coach". The former Bayern Munich assistant said. "Once we have done that we can look at what we need to do in January".

"When you've showed in your past you've got that experience to be able to get out of a hard situation, maybe people have got more belief in you than they would otherwise".

Swansea's only positive at Stoke last weekend was a fine performance from striker Wilfried Bony, who scored his first goal since re-joining the club at the start of the season.
