Where To Watch The Game Awards Tonight

The Game Awards airs on December 7, at 5:30pm PT and 8:30pm ET. Games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn stand as much a chance of sweeping the awards as Cuphead and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

Presenters: The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus, famed video game auteur Hideo Kojima and filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro will be on hand to present awards, leading many to believe that the trio will be releasing a new trailer for their collaborative game Death Stranding.

It's anyone's guess as to how The Game Awards will pan out this year, though Geoff Keighley has gone on the record to say that this year's iteration will contain the most surprises so far.

I'd also expect Nintendo to potentially lift the lid on the second DLC of Breath of the Wild, as it's apparently still launching before the end of the year. Furthermore, 4A Games - the studio behind Metro Exodus which debuted at Microsoft's Xbox One X E3 2017 show should have new gameplay footage as well. Information on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) desert map is a given as it was revealed to be at The Games Awards 2017 earlier in the week. Nevertheless, we'll be sure to let you know when the title's officially announced during tonight's ceremony.

Of course, none of this is confirmation that Keighley has an ace up his sleeve for The Game Awards, and it could just be a case of him wanting to increase interest before Thursday.
