We just got a new poster for Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, and with it comes the promise of a new trailer dropping soon. We meed Wade Watts, but we also get a good look at Parzival, Watts' in-game alter ego. With the new footage, fans were given a better look at the world of OASIS, as well as some blink-and-you'll miss it moments from the film.

Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, T. J. Miller, Hannah John-Kamen, Win Morisaki and Philip Zhao.

The first trailer was light on story, but gave us a basic setup of the world the movie takes place in, and gave us numerous easter eggs and references from the 1980s focused world of the OASIS. Warner Bros. Pictures, which is set to release the book's film adaptation in theaters on March 30, is set to debut the movie's new trailer during the stream. The story line follows protagonist Wade Watts, a passionate gamer, who is forced to race against the clock in order to find easter eggs left by the creator of his favorite MMO-slash-virtual-community, OASIS.

Based Ernie Cline's debut novel, Ready Player One is set in a dystopian world where nearly everyone spends a majority of their time in a virtual reality system known as OASIS, where players can visit any conceivable world (allowing the book to mash up an incredible number of '80s pop culture references).

Some people may complain about superhero fatigue, but for fans of the genre, 2018 looks like it will be an wonderful year. Ranging from games to movies, Marvel and DC have been hard at work turning their comic book characters into multimedia icons. There are so many fantastic things coming out of the comic book world, with new projects seemingly announced every day, so this is just a quick rundown of the five things that excite my inner fanboy.
