'What I am detained for?' Comedian Hannibal Buress arrested in Miami

Usually when we read about Hannibal Buress in the news it's over some new TV show or comedy special that he's doing.

The amusing man, known for roles on TV's "Broad City" and "Eric Andre Show", was arrested on disorderly intoxication charges around 10:30 p.m., the Miami Police Department said in a tweet.

'Am I under arrest? "Explain what I am detained for", Buress repeatedly shouts, occasionally stumbling over his words, in a video posted to YouTube by user Mitchell Wiggs.

"What am I detained for?" A jail official told TMZ the arrest was over 'disorderly intoxication'. "You know y'all are goofy as f-k".

Buress refused to get in the police vehicle and after a standoff that lasted several minutes he was pushed inside the patrol unit.

He was released early Sunday morning after posting a $500 bond.

The video also shows Buress repeatedly asking the arresting officers what probable cause they had for cuffing him, though they remain quiet before eventually pushing him into the police vehicle. Buress, who famously outed Bill Cosby as a serial rapist in his live act before that scandal broke in major media circles, will surely have something to say about this incident before long.
