Kevin Spacey replacement Christopher Plummer nominated — Golden Globes

The nominees for best drama film include Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, The Post, The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

The major film categories at the Golden Globes are split by genre - movies are nominated in either drama or musical and comedy.

Actress, Musical or Comedy: Judi Dench, Victoria & Abdul, Helen Mirren, The Leisure Seeker, Margot Robbie, I, Tonya, Saoirse Ronan, Lady Bird, Emma Stone, Battle of the Sexes.

With just two weeks to go until it arrives in USA cinemas, Sony Pictures has released a "look inside" featurette for the upcoming drama All the Money in the World, which includes interviews with stars Mark Wahlberg, Christopher Plummer, Timothy Hutton, and Michelle Williams, and director Ridley Scott; watch it here... Plummer is playing the role of Getty - who infamously refused to pay a ransom.

According to, Spacey had already filmed about two weeks of footage for the film, which is directed by Ridley Scott. A previous version of the trailer featured Spacey looking unrecognizable in prosthetic makeup.

Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg also star.

Del Toro's fantasy romance film got the most nods in the motion picture category, beating favourite Darkest Hour, which got only one nod for his main star Gary Oldman.

Actor, Movie or Limited Series: Robert De Niro, The Wizard of Lies.

The Florida Project could also be nominated after it was named as the best film by both the San Francisco Film Critics Circle and the Toronto Film Critics groups.

The show received six nominations in total - making it the most-nominated TV series this year.

The category is completed by Ewan McGregor, who is nominated for Fargo, and Kyle MacLachlan for Twin Peaks.
