The Diablo series has spawned a lot of similar games over the years, and one of the best is unquestionably Titan Quest.

THQ Nordic has announced that the classic PC action-RPG Titan Quest will be rolling out for PS4 and Xbox One early next year. Both editions will include the base game and the original Immortal Throne expansion, though there's no mention of the Ragnarok expansion.

The game has been ported to console by the THQ Nordic studio Black Forest Games. Titan Quest is granted to also release on all current-gen console platforms in 2018. The version for Nintendo Switch™ is in development and will be released (insert drumroll) when it is done. This was a game first released in 2006.

The console version of Titan Quest includes a revamped UI and controls tailor made for gamepads, and features cooperative online play for 2-6 players. We'll see if any more details about the console versions are released between now and launch, but for now, head down to the comments section and tell us what you think of this news! The expansion came alongside the release of Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition.

For some reason there will also be a £105/€120/£120 Collector's Edition, which includes a nine-inch replica of a Greek war helmet.
