According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common form of skin cancer, usually caused by repeated sun exposure.

Grammer was previously diagnosed with endometrial cancer and underwent a hysterectomy in 2013.

"You are Amazing!" Grammer captioned a photo with her doctor.

"You are unbelievable!" she gushed, adding that she'd been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer.

She posted a pic on Instagram, writing, "Thank you Dr. Beth karlan for removing those pesky cancer cells..." If caught and removed early enough, the cancer is very treatable and is not likely to recur.

The fearless star wrote: 'Thank God we found it early.

The reality TV alum went on to encourage fans to be vigilant about their own health, writing, "Ladies listen to your bodies. Annual checkups are important", Camille shared on Instagram.

I'm so happy that Camille caught this cancer early has had it removed.

People reports that about one million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the U.S.; 8,800 people die annually from the disease. Thankfully, like Camille, my mom was in clear after a radical hysterectomy.

The good news however is the surgery was successful and she is back home recovering.
