A round of celebratory Mister Softee cones all around, as HBO has announced that Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm will live again.

For his part, David added: "As I've said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so".

The current season concluded its 10-episode run on HBO on December 3.

TheWrap reports that production on the new episodes will begin sometime in the spring of 2018, though no premiere date has been set yet. When you consider the wait of more than half a decade between seasons 8 and 9, CarterMatt anticipated that season 10 would probably be at least a couple of years down the road.

The comedy series was created by Larry David; and is executive produced by Larry David, Jeff Garlin and Jeff Schaffer.

Starring Larry David as a heightened version of himself, the show took a years-long break between seasons eight and nine and will now return for a tenth go-round.

The announcement was made in a tweet from the official HBO Twitter account.

Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines and Richard Lewis are in the cast. "Now it's 'You're coming back so soon?' The TV scheduling Gods are very hard to please!"

"The truth is, Larry had so much fun last season that he wants to do it again", he said. We wouldn't exactly say that this is a surprise, given that Curb Your Enthusiasm is a big hit for the network.
