Body of JeM militant found from Pulwama, says police

The body of a terrorist belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) was found by the police from south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday, reports PTI.

He said the forces recovered body of the militant at Tral. Police sources told Mirror that some locals informed the police about the body lying in Eid Gah, Tral.

Eye witnesses said the body of the militant was recovered by locals during wee hours after people were coming out from mosques. Immediately a police team was rushed to the spot and recovered the body along with letter placed over his body.

The letter also stated that the deceased is not any informer and requested locals to bury him at the earliest.

He said the militant died while trying to assemble explosives to trigger a blast in Tral. A Jaish-e-Mohammad militant, identified as Umar Bhai died when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off accidentally in a hideout at Handura forest area of Tral today morning.
