Mahal was still seething after losing the belt and exercised his rematch clause for the last WWE Pay-Per-View of 2017. Will Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan be able to coexist and co-referee the main event between Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens?

Both general manager Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon will don the black-and-white stripes for the match, which will see Owens and Zayn fired "from all of WWE" if they are defeated. And the recent tease that General Manager Daniel Bryan and Commissioner Shane McMahon's relationship may be in peril thus leading to a feud between the two is about as exciting as anything now going in the WWE.

Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair will defend her title against Natalya in a Lumberjack match.

In what is likely to be an all-action encounter, the Usos' tag team titles will be on the line against three other teams, with a New Day duo, Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin and Aiden English & Rusev all bidding for the straps.

Things won't be easy for US Champion Baron Corbin either as he defends his title against Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler.
