While neither date will be changed, Kensington Palace say they are factoring in the match as part of the wedding planning.

"His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May, 2018", the couple's official London residence said in a statement.

The Gothic St George's Chapel is located in the grounds of Windsor Castle, which has been the family home of British kings and queens for nearly 1,000 years.

Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan Markle will tie the knot on May 19.

"Their highest expenditures are likely to be the catering, drinks and the decor".

The date breaks with tradition as royal weddings usually take place on a weekday - the Queen Wednesday on a Thursday and the Duke of Cambridge on a Friday.

Another put: "Just checked my calendar and I'm free so will pencil it in pending the invitation ". The palace revealed that Markle has met them on many occasions. Markle asked her fiancé.

This news comes soon after the recent confirmation that Meghan will join Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth II, and other members of the royal family for Christmas on the estate of Sandringham in Norfolk. (The Queen is also the head of the Church of England.) Kensington Palace announced that the Queen would indeed be in attendance. "She and Harry will probably stay at Anmer Hall nearby with William and Kate".
