Eager to play more games, Ceballos could force an early exit from the Bernabeu given Zinedine Zidane's wealth of options in attacking midfield, and Arsenal are among those interested in signing him.

Real Madrid signed the midfielder following an impressive string of performances for Spain at the Under-21 European Championship over the summer.

However, he is featuring as a substitute and rarely getting 90 minutes, only playing two full games for Los Blancos, both legs of a Copa del Rey tie against Fuenlabrada. Recent rumours are suggesting that Liverpool have moved ahead in that race.

According to reports, Liverpool are the latest club to have joined the chase, following in the footsteps of Tottenham, Arsenal, Inter Milan, AS Roma and few other top clubs.

It is unknown if Ceballos is looking to leave, but he is not happy with the lack of action he is getting on the pitch, and Liverpool may take advantage that and add a very good player to their squad.

Signed from Real Betis for £16million, it sounds like the Spain Under 21 worldwide could leave Real Madrid in the not too distant future, although knowing his employers, they will probably send him out on an initial loan first.
