"RIP cousin. Can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms", Rihanna wrote.

Announced on Instagram, RiRi shared a photo of the two, while saying she never thought last night would've been the last time she saw him.

She also desperately called for an end to gun violence all over the world because it can lead to innocent people losing their lives.

She also posted an Instagram story that included his page handle, along with the words "rest up, lil cuz".

"We are conducting investigations into the shooting death of a 21-year-old man, which occurred sometime around 7:00 pm at Eden Lodge, St Micheal". "Love you always man", she added. Your presence in my life is a source of joy and happiness.

A number of the singer's fans were quick to offer kind words amid the hard time.

It's not been the happiest of Christmas's for Rihanna as earlier on 26 December she admitted that she was feeling "sick af".

The singer had previously taken to social media over the Christmas holiday, showing off her fab form in a red gown by designer Christopher Kane amid a winter cold.

This is the caption the singer wrote underneath the pictures of her and her cousin together for the last time.
