Utah came in allowing 67.9 points per game, best in the Pac-12, and held the Ducks to almost 30 points below their season average. A pair of Bibbins 3-pointers served as bookends on the run.

"Really bad selection, and we took really bad ones", Altman said. "Making shots is what helped us in the second half".

"Again, I know we had problems offensively, but that game was decided on the defensive end the second half".

Key runs: Down 31-23, Utah opened up the second half with an 8-0 run in the first 1:30 to tie the game. The Utes went ahead to stay with 10½ minutes left and scored the last nine points of the game. "When they go in, it's a fun way to play".

The 18-round Pac-12 fight has begun. "They weren't going in in the first half, and they were in the second half".

OR finished without a steal and committed 11 turnovers. OR would put the game away for good in the fourth with the Ducks put together a 15-0 run. McIntosh was credited with field goal without touching the ball. "We didn't get any stops, and then offensively I'm not sure what we were trying to run, and that's on me", Altman said. We did a heck of a job on [Payton] Pritchard.

OR is 59-12 in Pac-12 games since Matthew Knight Arena opened in January 2011. The Huskies (6-6, 0-1) lost 75-63 at No. 17 Oregon State on Friday. But the Ducks allowed 84and 82 points in two of their last three wins, and that's had the team'sattention over the nine days it had to prepare for the conference opener.
