His channels have now been removed from YouTube's Google Preferred platform, which offers brands access to the platform's top creators.

Though Paul is best known for his sophomoric vlogs, he has also been featured in scripted programming funded by YouTube and distributed on YouTubeRed, the company's subscription service.

The sequel to YouTube movie The Thinning had begun filming with Paul in November of previous year, and it is not yet clear what its fate is.

Paul was forced to apologise after his video of a man hanging in Japan's "suicide forest" was slammed for being insensitive.

'Additionally, we will not feature Logan in Season 4 of Foursome and his new originals are on hold, ' YouTube added.

Paul will still be able to run advertisements on his channel, but he will likely see lower CPMs than if he had remained on the Google Preferred roster.

"Many of you have been frustrated with our lack of communication recently". You're right to be.

The video-sharing site revealed on Wednesday that they are putting Paul-related projects on hold after he made headlines for a video he posted on December 31 which featured images of an apparent suicide victim.

Paul, who has gone offline for a while, has apologized for his action in a video posted on Twitter.

After the video was removed, Paul - who has 15 million YouTube subscribers - posted a written apology to Twitter, saying his intention was to "raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention". You deserve to know what's going on. "None of us knew how to react or how to feel", he said on his channel.

'Suicide is not a joke, nor should it ever be a driving force for views. That's life! What we do with those mistakes, bad judgement or whatever term you give it, is what matters.

The vlogger took the video down a day after posting it following widespread outrage and issued a grovelling apology.

Uploading the video to his Instagram account, father Paul eagerly thanked the members of the #Logang who stood beside their leader despite the fact that he openly mocked, disrespected and profited off of a suicide victim.
