A spokesperson revealed that YouTube would no longer put any of Paul's content on their premium platforms.

As a result, whether or not The Thinning: A New World Order will launch is still unclear.

Paul now has three YouTube Red projects that are all on hold, Logan Paul Vs. and The Thinning - New World Order and he will be written off of Foursome.

Numerous video bloggers and internet insiders believe that these actions were a little too late.

When the company issued its statement on January 9, it apologized for the lack of communication and stated that it shared numerous community members' outrage regarding the incident. The company expressed that it is upset about the video and is searching for ways to ensure videos in that nature never make it to the video-sharing website. While Paul said the video was an attempt to shine a light on mental health issues, people understandably took major issue with it.

Paul has since issued two apologies about the incident before announcing he was taking a break from YouTube. When this situation unfolded, Paul was in a middle of an adventure in Japan. According to Japanese folklore, the Aokigahara is a Japanese forest that is infamous for being the site where its visitors could encounter a dead body.

The video was viewed some 6 million times before being removed from Paul's YouTube channel, a verified account with more than 15 million subscribers.

Paul later apologised for the clip, which was viewed more than a million times before it was taken down, saying it was "wrong" and "misguided".

The video includes a disclaimer at the beginning and blurs out the dead man's face. It's been hinted he may be punished further, but for now the millionaire can still earn money from YouTube's nonpreferred platform.
