Still to come in Early Access over the coming weeks is Episode 3, Endless Arena 3, achievements, trading cards, leaderboards and more.

In the time between then and now, developer Bulkhead Interactive has created a game that is nearly ready for its Steam Early Access release. In addition to the campaign episodes and endless survival mode, the Early Access release also now includes the open beta run of DUSKWorld, the multiplayer component of DUSK - so you can shoot your friends in the face with double barreled shotguns.

Prior the big day in February, Battalion 1944 will host a closed beta from January 19 to January 21. Thank you for helping test our game and preparing it for release to early access where we want to continue our relationship with the community. For a chance to take part, head on over to beta.battaliongame.com. Those who pledged to the Kickstarter and Humble Bundle will automatically gain access to the beta - what's more, there's no NDA, so streaming and content creation is allowed! During the beta weekend, players will be able to enjoy Domination on Manorhouse V1, as well as the newly introduced competitive mode, Wartide, on Liberation, the second and final map available next weekend. "It's one last chance for us to test out our wares with FPS players before we make the leap to Early Access".

As previously reported, Bulkhead expects Battalion to stay in Early Access for around one year.

Not only is the single-player campaign up and available to experience via Early Access, but the Duskworld multiplayer component is also now available as well. "We've looked to bed the play down in maps that are both competitive and authentic, for which our trips to Normandy proved immensely useful".
