Two additions to the game with patch 2.1.0 are the cozy campfire and Nvidia ShadowPlay Highlights.

Fortnite Battle Royale players are gearing up for a brand new update to Fortnite coming this morning following a brief period of downtime.

'It's cold outside! Gather around the fire with friends and heal up before your next battle.

We've seen the developer add a host of new recovery items since its launch, such as the Small Shield Potion and the Slurp juice. The Cozy Campfire trap heals anyone nearby for 2 HP per second for 25 seconds.

Update v.2.1.0 also targets a number of bugs related to UI, audio and animations, while the Boogie Bomb dance effect has now been removed upon taking damage. We will continue to monitor and iterate on this item's functionality. ShadowPlay can save plays automatically and can be further customized to pick what plays get saved.

This latest update does not offer anything too substantial compared to the holiday patch, but it does make some important changes to Fortnite BR. Players will notice that the Boogie Bomb rarity has been changed to blue/rare to accurately depict its true rarity. The most noticeable issue plaguing players was a glitch that would cause them to drop through their recently built or edited creations, which should be fixed with the Cozy Campfire patch.

Increased the audible range of enemy footsteps, as well as their overall volume. We're working on a fix now, expect it next update. Enemy footsteps will also be easier to hear when performing certain tasks like building, shooting, or collecting resources.

Fixed an issue which caused sniper bullet impact sounds to trigger a couple of times per shot.

Shortened a few Daily Challenge descriptions which would run off the screen in a few languages.

Fixed an issue which caused crafting to fail even when there was space in your inventory. Players should no longer worry about the rare Battle Royale server crash and the rare Save the World crash that usually occurred when selecting "Reward Info" in the Collection Book.

In addition, PC owners can now take advantage of NVIDIA's ShadowPlay Highlights, allowing you to capture those oh-so-sweet moments and extend bragging rights to your mates.
