The photos he has leaked photos also reveal a dual selfie camera setup on the U11 EYEs.

In a tweet, the venerable Evan Blass reveals the codenamed Harmony device. This new phone will feature a splendid 5.99-inch Full HD+ display that will also boast a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The Taiwanese manufacturer has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone and has just posted a "save the date" invite on its official Weibo account. The tweet also suggests this phone will have 64GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card. The older Snapdragon 652 chipset will be powering the phone along with 4 GB of RAM.

In terms of the software, the phone will sadly run on the dated Android Nougat operating system.

The HTC U11 EYEs will come with a 3930 mAh battery and USB-C, the handset will be available in three colors, black, red and silver and it will launch on the 15th of January.

That's not all yet, folks! The smartphone will also come with Edge Sense that was introduced with the U11. In case you missed it, the feature lets you squeeze the sides of the phone to differently interact with it.

Now, squeezing the phone may seem a bit weird, but it is basically quite intuitive, and testers already reported that they are enjoying the feature. It will be coming with IP67 certified dustproof and waterproof chassis.

Given these specifications and the pricing, the U11 Eyes is a mid-range smartphone.

Although the company hasn't shared any details about the device, we already know a lot about it.

Design-wise, the U11 EYEs takes its lead from the U11+ - rather than the original U11 - with its rear-mounted circular fingerprint scanner above the HTC logo and underneath the camera lens. Stay tuned for more.
