Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said on Friday on MSNBC.

On Friday's "MSNBC Live", Representative John Lewis (D-GA) argued that racism must be in President Trump's DNA and said he doesn't plan to attend the State of the Union due to President Trump's rhetoric. What does he have to say that I would be interested in?

Lewis made the accusation following Trump's reported comments that America needs fewer Haitian immigrants and more immigrants from countries like Norway.

As for boycotting the State of the Union, it appears that Lewis may have come up with an ingenious tactic to avoid attending burdensome political events when Republicans are at the helm.

Guest anchor Joy Reid, introducing President Donald Trump's "sh*thole" scandal, noted "so far the only person who's given a full account of what the president said yesterday is the one Democrat who was present, Illinois Sen".

The president reportedly referred to some countries in Africa as a "shithole".

"No longer can Members of Congress, particularly Republicans, stand with such a risky, disturbed, and deceitful man who is a threat to everything for which America, the greatest democracy on earth, stands", Waters said.

"I wouldn't waste my time sitting in that house listening to what he has to say", Waters said. "He does not deserve my attention".

"Donald Trump is an embarrassment and a national disgrace", she added. On Friday, she called for him to be removed from office over his comments. "Congress has a constitutional responsibility to impeach him without delay".
