"If India want to win, Virat and Rohit will need to play a big role", the dashing opener of yesteryears said.

Ahead of the second Test in Centurion, Virat Kohli and Co. are apparently busy gearing up for the upcoming Test. Shaking off the Cape Town loss, team India could be spotted at the nets not only sweating it out but also improvising and innovating their roles as well.

He said: "I think at times they played very good cricket in that first Test".

"I expect another huge performance from them". On both the occasions they bounced back to take the series 2-1.

But Steyn's departure from South Africa's squad does not bring any relief for team India as the Proteas have found a replacement in Lungi Ngidi which is being termed as a quality replacement for Dale Steyn. We need to bat well and I am very confident the team is capable of doing so. "India is the same".

South African batting hasn't looked too comfortable either with the Indian pacers proving they are up for the scrap but that hasn't anxious du Plessis one bit. In the previous game it was pace and it worked. Look, each time they asked questions of us, we also asked questions of them.

"The tennis ball bounce in South Africa means that it will be very hard for any batsman to get bowled".

Du Plessis‚ though‚ displayed a hint of concern. "I don't mind that", he said.

Head-to-head: South Africa have an excellent record at Centurion.

Du Plessis was clearly gutted for a man who, last week, he called the best bowler in the world.

Kohli said the selection for Cape Town was based on form.

Kohli praised Pandya for his valiant all round effort in the match and praised the bowling display as well, saying, " The bowlers learnt pretty quickly and did well in the second innings. "Everybody is on the same level".

"I feel that definitely the batting order, through mistakes we committed in the first game and through the experience we gained in the first game, we are certainly in a much better shape to come at their bowling attack in this Test", he added. In our dressing room, there's none of that.

The performance on the first day, and the part it might have played in the eventual result, didn't hurt Bumrah's confidence. Vernon is in a good place where he is fitter. So I had a lot of things to learn from it. He wasn't exhausted after four overs and was ready all the time. If we can have Vernon like that, it makes our bowling even more risky.

"It is really important to put the opposition under pressure in a three-match series".

AB de Villiers: The expectation from him is the same as anyone in the team.

"Well in hindsight, we lost by 70-odd, if we had taken chances in the first innings, they would have been 220", said Kohli in the post-match presentation. He's just such a strong bowler. "They know better on who should play and who should not", he said.
