Baby found safe after auto taken outside Dublin house

GARDAI in Dublin are investigating an incident which occurred this morning in which a auto with a baby in the back seat was stolen from a housing estate in the north east area of the city.

The 13-month-old girl was in the back seat at the time.

The baby was unharmed and she has now been reunited with her family.

Details of the vehicle were circulated to police units and following a search operation it was found in the Clongriffen area at about 08:15.

The incident occurred in Park Vale, Baldoyle on Friday morning around 7.30am.

No arrests have yet been made.
