"Need a revision", a student Shriya M said. For the humanities students, three exams have been placed back-to-back from 5 to 7 April.

Students opting for humanities are also upset with the schedule. The CBSE said that the class 10 and 12 board exams 2018 date sheets was prepared keeping many factors in consideration including competitive exams for class 12 students.

Echoing experts, an official from CBSE said, "There are around 200 subjects out of which students can have any combination".

"The question is not how much would a student be able to study in a day".

In class X datesheet the students have only one complaint of and social science subject having one day gap. The English language paper is due to be held on March 05 and after a day's gap students will have to appear for Physics exam.

Students also pointed out that Mathematics and Computer Science exams are scheduled on March 21 and March 23 respectively, causing difficulty in preparation.
