Interestingly, multiple electronic companies have endorsed Alexa voice assistant in their products.

A New York-based company is preparing to showcase the first augmented reality (AR) glasses to feature Amazon's Alexa voice assistant at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Reports revealed that Amazon's Alexa is looking to enter the auto world through Nissan units. Toyota is planning to bring Alexa to more of its own models this year and in 2019.

Customers will be able to access Alexa's range of skills - as its voice applications are called - while in the vehicle. With Lexus, the LC, NX, RC, and LS models all have available EnForm 2.0, so any or all of those could get Alexa this year.

Amazon's Alexa digital assistant will soon ride shotgun with Toyota drivers.

But Toyota will also allow a motorist to use the system from home. Executives from Amazon's Alexa and Google's Assistant will be seeking new partners and other big technology companies, including Apple Inc. and Facebook Inc.'s Oculus division, will be at the show behind the scenes as they ramp up their virtual-reality and augmented-reality products.
