Dark Souls, is referred to as a spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, first launched in 2011.

In a Japanese retailer listing, it was first leaked that Dark Souls will get a remaster for the PS4. Remastered heads to retail stores in May and will make its Xbox One, PS4, Switch and Steam debuts simultaneously. The latest game in the series is Dark Souls 3, launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in 2016. It's not clear what perks, if any, Remastered will see on Nintendo's portable console. While there's a lot of cool stuff in this bundle that hardcore Dark Souls fans are sure to love, that's a steep price to pay, especially considering most people probably already own Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III.

In other Dark Souls merch news, Fangamer is teasing "figurines, apparel, and more" this spring. There's a set of bookends, featuring one of the series' iconic bonfires, concept art prints and sizeable printed work that appears to be a fancy artbook.
