Fieldbrook Foods Corporation says the recall includes orange cream bars, chocolate coated vanilla ice cream bars, and raspberry cream bars that were included with orange cream bars in split packages.

On Tuesday, the company expanded the recall to include all products made at its Dunkirk, New York, plant in 2017. You can see all of the stores where these products were sold, along with the brand name of the recalled products, at the FDA web site. The disease can have more serious or fatal effects on the elderly, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems. The Hood and Kemps products may show a "best by" date of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.

So far, no illnesses have been reported, though the manufacturer issued the recall due to traces of Listeria monocytogenes that were found when the products were being tested.

Ice cream sold at Kroger and Dollar Tree is being recalled due to listeria fears.

If you have the affected product, you are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Listeria infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-333-0805, ext.
